Routine foot care, done properly
Lynda Comberbach is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner, holding the S.A.C. Diploma in Foot Health Practice. Foot health care keeps everyday problems in hand before they become painful: nails that have grown long or thick, corns and callus that press when you walk, and dry or cracked heels.
The clinic looks after toenail cutting, corns, callus and hard skin, cracked heels, ingrown toenails, and offers diabetic foot screening as a service. Advice is also given on fungal nail and athlete's foot.
A Foot Health Practitioner does not diagnose or prescribe. If anything you show Lynda needs your GP, she will tell you plainly and explain why.

A careful look
Both feet are checked, and Lynda talks you through what she sees and what she suggests before anything starts.
Treatment

Foot Health questions
What is a foot health practitioner?
A Foot Health Practitioner is trained to provide routine foot care such as toenail cutting, reducing corns, callus and hard skin, and caring for dry and cracked heels. Lynda holds the S.A.C. Diploma in Foot Health Practice. A Foot Health Practitioner does not diagnose or prescribe, and will refer you to your GP where that is the right place for your care.
Is a Foot Health Practitioner the same as a podiatrist or chiropodist?
No. Podiatrist and chiropodist are the same profession, and both are titles protected by law in the UK: only clinicians registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) may use them. Lynda Comberbach is a Foot Health Practitioner. She is not a podiatrist or chiropodist and is not HCPC registered. A Foot Health Practitioner provides routine foot care, such as toenail cutting, reducing corns, callus and hard skin, and caring for cracked heels, but does not diagnose, prescribe or carry out nail surgery. If anything Lynda sees needs that level of care, she will tell you plainly and recommend that you see your GP.
Do I need a referral to book?
No referral is needed. You can book directly on WhatsApp or by calling 07803 574 327.
How much does a foot health appointment cost?
Basic toenail cutting is £25. A full foot treatment, which includes toenail cutting plus corns and callus, is £35.
Do you see diabetic clients?
Yes, diabetics are very welcome. Diabetic foot screening is offered as a service, a routine check of circulation and sensation in the feet. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace your GP or diabetes team.
Can you help with an ingrown toenail?
An ingrown toenail can be looked at during a foot health appointment. Lynda will assess it and talk you through the options, and will tell you if it needs your GP instead.
How often should I come?
It varies from person to person. Lynda will suggest an interval that suits your feet at your first appointment.
